A nap would do some cheering
As midday finds its lull
My braindust could be clearing
If I could rest at all
A sunny patch to lie in
I’d ball up like a cat
A couch with me reclining
And blanket over that
A drifting off to dreamland
It wouldn’t take too long
To make my body feel grand
And back where it belongs
I’m not sure it will happen
My fantasy nap time
Unless I strike a bargain
With these two kids of mine
